CHARITY EVENTS IN ORDER TO SUPPORT
WOMEN’S ISSUES.
Furthermore, it is the goal of the Forum to generate donations through
fundraising and charity events in order to support organizations and
networks helping women in the United States, Europe and around the world.
One of the projects of the WOMEN’S WORLD FORUM for 2007 is the support
of the “One Drop Of Hope” Foundation in Benares, India, established by
2006 World Hope Award winner Stella Deetjen providing shelter and
medical assistance to orphans and children afflicted with leprosy.
Between December 2006 and February 2007 over $150,000 have been donated
for the project due to the active support of the WOMEN’S WORLD FORUM.
