John Cossette produced for the first time the television special
of the 3rd Women’s World Awards Ceremony held in North America.
The Gala was taped for television and broadcast in numerous countries
around the globe.
Los Angeles native John Cossette is best known for producing the annual
Grammys, the Latin Grammys and The BET Awards. He is a two-time NAACP
Image Award recipient.
“John is behind some of the biggest pop culture events today. He, Ron
Weisner and the rest of the production team are the logical choice to
orchestrate this exceptional show honoring women who serve as

Cossette was the executive producer the 2006/2007 event, Ron Weisner, former
manager of Michael Jakcson, produced and was in charge of talent. Awards
show veteran Dave Boone (Academy Awards, Emmy Awards) was the writer and
Debbie Miller directed the show.
